About the backup code

If for some reason you become unable to use the verification app, you can utilize the “backup code.”

To learn about the backup code after logging into Zaif, go to [Accounts], then to [Accounts and Security], and then to the [2-step verification settings] page.
You will be able to manage your backup code and have a new backup code issued to you.

For example, if your device which contains the 2-step verification app is destroyed,
you can login to Zaif using the backup code, and after temporarily disabling the 2-step verification process,
re-set your 2-step verification settings on your new device, to be able to utilize our services once again.


If you do not have a backup code

We can temporarily disable your 2-step verification, so please use our inquiry page to request that your 2-step verification be temporarily disabled.
